Common questions

Things families usually ask.

How much does Meridian charge?
Our fees vary based on the scope of the engagement and the number of schools in your application plan. We discuss pricing transparently on the discovery call once we understand your family's situation. The initial consultation is always free.
How many families do you work with at a time?
Deliberately few. We keep our client base small so that every family receives genuine personal attention rather than a templated service. We take on a limited number of new families each year and are transparent when our capacity is full.
What ages do you work with?
We work primarily with families placing children between the ages of 10 and 16 into boarding and preparatory schools in the UK, USA, and Switzerland. We can advise on placements outside this range on a case by case basis.
Do you have formal agreements with the schools?
No, and that is intentional. Meridian is fully independent. We have no financial arrangements with any school that would influence which institutions we recommend. We recommend what we believe is right for your child, full stop.
Our child is not sure they want to go. Is that a problem?
It is actually one of the most important things you can tell us. The children who struggle most in boarding are the ones who felt pushed into it. We have seen this firsthand on both sides. We can talk through how other families have navigated that conversation before making any decisions.
